Full-time: Castleford RUFC 21–24 Rotherham Phoenix.

A tough battle after trailing 19–0 at halftime, but a strong second-half fightback showed real character. Big performances from Mark Poppleton and McKenzie Coulson — plenty to build on going forward .

Despite the loss, both teams came together to celebrate a Castleford club legend, Keith Thompson.
